"Me"

My name is Maria Catalina Rodriguez. I’m student from University of Ibague in Colombia. I’m doing my International Exchange in The University of Economics in Katowice for the semester spring-summer in 2010 and I am doing my Internship in the Bureau of Promotion and New Media, International  Team. I want to express in my Blog all about my experience in Poland.

I hope the things that I explain here could be useful  if  somebody is thinking of studying abroad or maybe just to tell how much you can enjoy if you decide to know another culture.

Study abroad is an important decision in your life, it could change your perspectives about the world, “I think that it is the most important thing”, it makes of you a more independent person, you can discover how many things you are capable of, you can become more tolerant and so on. I can say that is the best experience during the time that you are a student.

Also I want to show the principal differences between Colombian and Polish culture and reflect on it and in how is the cultural gap.
